Teen shot thrice in San Francisco’s Bernal Heights, no suspect description

A 15-year-old boy suffered three gunshot wounds Sunday in Bernal Heights, police said.

The victim was walking in the 900 block of Ellsworth Street around 1:40 a.m. when he heard shots and realized he’d been hit. The victim was shot once in the groin area and twice in his left leg, police said.

A family member drove the victim to the hospital, where he was treated for his nonlife-threatening injuries.

No descriptions were available of the suspects Monday, who fled in a blue car, police said.
