Teachers tell all about budget cuts

Teachers and parents who want to understand more about how budget cuts affect the classroom should try to make a California Teachers Association Town Hall meeting on Monday night.

The CTA and The City's teacher's union will discuss how state budget cuts have hurt classrooms all over the Bay Area while class sizes have grown. They will also talk about what to anticipate for next year.

The meeting will address issues in k-12 and community college classrooms.

President Dennis Kelly of the United Educators of San Francisco is one of several moderators leading the discussion at the 7 p.m. meeting at John O'Connell High School at
2355 Folsom St.
