Taylor Armstrong shared some painful memories on the “Today” show while promoting her new memoir. The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star, whose estranged husband, Russell, committed suicide shortly before the show’s second season premiered, recalled the relationship she says was abusive.

“The good times were the best I ever had. The worst times were the worst I have ever had,” the ‘Housewife” mused.

“I went as far as taking a polygraph test just to try to prove to him that I never had an affair on him,” she revealed. “He just had a constant paranoia. As they were unstrapping me from the polygraph test, I thought, ‘Why am I taking a polygraph for someone that I love?’ I was so desperate to keep it together that I would have gone to any extreme.”

Though she says she debated the ethics of discussing her late husband’s alleged abuse in print, Taylor explained the decision by saying, “I got out way too late. I hope by others hearing the story, they may get out sooner. When I wrote ‘Hiding From Reality,’ I wanted it real and honest. Some of it was difficult to write. I love [Russell] to this day and miss him terribly.”

Beach Babe

Jennifer Lopez was sighted Sunday frolicking on the Malibu beach with boy toy Casper Smart — and her 4-year-old twins, Max and Emme.

The backup dancer gets along “great” with the tots, a friend tells Us magazine, adding, “Jennifer wouldn’t introduce him to them unless she knew she could trust him.”

Somehow, we doubt the twins’ dad, J.Lo’s estranged husband Marc Anthony, trusts him. But we’re pretty impressed by how long Casper has already stuck around — maybe it’s really true love!

Sad Service

Aspiring singer Leslie Carter was laid to rest Saturday, but her brother Nick was absent from the funeral service. The former Backstreet Boy says a “complicated family dynamic” kept him from attending.

“It was a celebration of who she was and how much she was loved by everyone,” one of the more than 60 mourners in Mayville, N.Y., told People.

The 25-year-old, who appeared with her family on the reality show “House of Carters,” was found dead last week after a reported apparent overdose on prescription medication. She left behind her husband, Mike, and their daughter, Alyssa, who is just 10 months old.

In a statement, Nick, who is touring and performed a concert in Atlantic City, N.J., explained, “I wanted to be at my sister’s funeral, but my family has always had a complicated dynamic. I love my family.”
