Tancredo dumps on Palin, McCain 

Former Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colo., offered a very frank interview to the Dutch NRC Handelsblad, in which he criticized Sarah Palin (his fellow speaker at the Nashville Tea Party Convention) for backing John McCain for re-election.

"I was much fonder of her before she chose to get involved in the McCain thing," Tancredo says. "She didn’t have to do it.’’

Tancredo also recounts his first meeting with McCain, in which the senator allegedly unleaded an obscenity-laden tirade when Tancredo said he did not plan to vote for a campaign finance reform bill. Language advisory for the link.
