Switch problem disrupting J and N lines

J-Church and N-Judah Muni riders will have to do the old switcharoo this morning if they need to get through the tunnel that goes below ground at Church Street and Duboce Avenue.

A switch problem is preventing the light rail vehicles from coming in and out of the tunnel so anyone who needs to get underground has to get off the light rail and walk underground.

Instead of going down under, the trains are stopping at the tunnel and staying aboveground.

The problem started when service began this morning, and there’s no estimate of when it will be fixed.
