Suspect in June double homicide arrested in S.J. airport

Mountain View police arrested a fifth suspect Thursday, a woman wanted for her alleged involvement in a double homicide of a brother and sister in June.

Just before 10 a.m., the officers, in conjunction with the San Jose Police Department and Mineta San Jose International Airport, arrested suspect Kim Thien Pham, 19, as she attempted to take a flight.

She has been booked into Santa Clara County jail on two counts of murder and one count of conspiracy to commit murder, related to the deaths of Maria Teresa Sanchez-Aquino, 27, and her brother Omar Aquino, 24, who were found shot to death June 28.

Four suspects have already been arrested in the case, which also involved robbery.
