Survey on SFMTA’s strategic plan is available online

The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency, which manages all transportation-related issues in The City, recently updated their strategic plan for the near-future, with the strategy focusing most urgently on getting people out of their cars and into alternative forms of travel.

Ideally, this would funnel more passengers onto Muni, the SFMTA’s chronically underfunded transit system, but that may be wishful thinking, as barely half of the agency’s current riders are satisfied.

Local residents can weigh in on the SFMTA’s strategic plan, which not only outlines goals for transit, but also traffic, bike, walking and cab programs. A survey designed to gather feedback on the strategic plan is available here.
