Supes to vote on Harding Park fee hike

Increasing the cost to play a round of golf at Harding Park Golf Course cleared the Board of Supervisors Budget and Finance Committee last week, and on Tuesday the full board will vote whether to approve the fee hikes for nonresidents.

Nonresidents are expected to start paying $15 more to hit the links at Harding Park. Weekday rates will increase from $135 to $150 and weekend rates from $155 to $170, which is about a 10 percent increase.

The Recreation and Park Department also plans to increase the cost for residents based on the consumer price index of 2.9 percent, an adjustment that does not require board approval.
