Supes to hold hearing in nightlife complaints, violence 

Days after the Entertainment Commission voted to suspend a troubled nightclub, the Board of Supervisors Public Safety Committee is set to hold a Monday hearing on complaints The City has received about nightclubs and steps taken to address them. It’s supposed to be up to the Entertainment Commission to deal with them. Board of Supervisors President David Chiu, who chairs the committee, had introduced legislation requiring the regular reporting as part of a broader effort to crackdown on violence associated with nightclubs.
