Supes to hear crime update

The Board of Supervisors Public Safety Committee will get its usual crime update during a hearing Monday morning. These hearings generally involve the SFPD providing the committee, chaired by Board of Supervisors President David Chiu, with the most recent statistics on violent crimes and the supervisors generally ask questions about current events, like crime on Muni, the crime lab or the most recent violent incident to hit the newspapers.

The committee meets Monday at 10 a.m. at City Hall in Room 250.
