Supes support parking meter contract

The Board of Supervisors Budget and Finance Committee voted Wednesday to send to the full board a contract with a parking meter collection company that would amend the existing contract for two years and increase the contract by $16.8 million.

The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency requested the contract extension and amount increase to allow for continuation, expansion and trials of new parking meters.

The full board votes Tuesday on the contract.
