The Board of Supervisor gave final approval Tuesday to two settlements of lawsuits filed against The City.

One lawsuit, filed on the grounds of a violation of the California Employment and Housing Act, was settled for $57,500. The lawsuit said the employee was wrongfully terminated. The other lawsuit was an injury lawsuit filed as a result of a January 2008 accident involving a police car that occurred at Ortega and 28th streets. This lawsuit was settled for $50,000.
