On Wednesday, city leaders and community members marked the completion of the Oak and Fell Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Project. Board of Supervisors President London Breed, who represents the district where the project took place, was joined by officials from the Public Works Department, Muni and San Francisco Bicycle Coalition, along with neighborhood residents. The project brought to Oak and Fell streets, which are popular crosstown thoroughfares, separated bike lanes, wider sidewalks and new landscaping, among other improvements.
