Supervisor Avalos, neighborhood group to host parking summit in Excelsior

Excelsior residents fed up with the parking situation in their neighborhood will get a chance to vent Tuesday night at a community meeting sponsored by Supervisor John Avalos and a local community group.

The Excelsior Parking Summit will allow residents in the southern San Francisco neighborhood to discuss with officials some of the difficulties of parking in The City. The forum will be designed to identify specific problems and solutions for motorists in the area.

Hosted by the Excelsior District Improvement Association, the parking summit will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at 3750 Mission St.
