Stabbing victim stable after seeking help at fire station 

A man who walked into a fire station looking for help after being stabbed is in stable condition, according to police.

The man, who police declined to identify, walked into the fire station at 1067 Post St. near Polk Street around 10:30 p.m. Sunday with stab wounds to his wrist and upper abdomen.

The victim reportedly knew the suspect, but no arrests had been made as of Monday morning, police said.
