Junior jumps to Hendrick team

Dale Earnhardt Jr. won’t be complaining about resources anymore. Junior completed his whirlwind free agency by agreeing to a five-year deal with Hendrick Motorsports — the NASCAR team currently ruling the Nextel Cup roost. Hendrick has been close to Junior for most of Earnhardt’s life; Hendrick was a friend and confidant of Junior’s dad. Junior’s new teammates include Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson.
