Sports briefs: Pacman won't be wrestling 

Adam "Pacman" Jones has a new hobby during his suspension from the NFL — pro wrestling. But the Tennessee Titans’ banished cornerback won’t be executing piledrivers. Jones is about to sign with TNA Wrestling, but his NFL contract prohibits him from participating in activities that could get him injured. He will have other roles with TNA.

Raiders sign Culpepper

The Raiders got a quarterback into camp, just not the one they really want. Daunte Culpepper, cut by the Miami Dolphins after one unproductive season, signed a one-year contract with the Raiders. Culpepper, 30, could be leverage in the Raiders’ negotiations with No. 1 overall pick JaMarcus Russell.

Cocaine found at Beck’s home

Cocaine and drug paraphernalia were found in former Giants closer Rod Beck’s Arizona home the day he died, police said. Police also found a loaded semiautomatic handgun in a bagcontaining numerous glass bowl pipes and torch lighters. The medical examiner is awaiting results of toxicology tests to establish a cause of death of Beck, who died June 23 at age 38.
