South City Library celebrates reopening 

The South San Francisco Main Library will celebrate its reopening Saturday. An improvement project included upgrades to the infrastructure, customer service, accessibility and security. Other improvements included the addition of 23 computers, new carpeting, new chairs and refinished tables. The project was funded by Genentech and the South San Francisco Redevelopment Agency. The celebration is Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Main Library, 840 W. Orange Ave.
