SoMa public storage business burglarized

A South of Market public storage business was burglarized between 6:30 p.m. Monday and 6 a.m. Tuesday, police said Wednesday.

The 26-year-old manager of the facility, who resides on the premises, woke up Tuesday morning to see the door to the business in the 100 block of 10th Street open, police said.

He then noticed that the surveillance cameras in the business had been tampered with and multiple storage units had been forced open.

There were no known suspects in the burglary as of Wednesday and it was unknown what losses the storage units may have incurred.
