Smoking ban expansion up for supes vote 

On Monday, the Board of Supervisors Land Use and Economic Development Committee will vote on legislation introduced by Supervisor Eric Mar that will expand The City’s ban on locations where one can smoke.

Smoking is currently banned in bars, restaurants, parks, transit stops and taxis.The bill would expand no-smoking zones to include farmers’ markets, outdoor seating areas of restaurants, cafes and coffee shops, and common areas of multiunit housing complexes
