SMC Sheriff's Office seeks public's help in finding teenage peeping Tom

The San Mateo County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in finding a juvenile suspect who reportedly was loitering in a middle school bathroom in Millbrae and took several pictures of a 12-year-old boy who was using the facilities, Deputy Rebecca Rosenblatt said in a statement Friday.

The incident occurred about 1:55 p.m. Friday at Taylor Middle School. The victim told deputies that while he was using the bathroom, an unknown male walked in and reached under the divider of the urinal and took several pictures before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction. The victim did not recognize the suspect and deputies said it was possible he was not a student at Taylor.

The suspect was described as being about 14 to 16 years old, about 5-foot-8 with a heavy build, Rosenblatt said. He is white with slicked-back blonde hair and was last seen wearing a long-sleeve white shirt with a brown short-sleeve shirt over it.

Anyone with information on the suspect is encouraged to call Detective John Carroll of the Sheriff's Office Millbrae Police Bureau at (650) 259-2313, send an email to jcarroll@smcgov.org or use the anonymous tip line at (800) 547-2700.
