SLIDESHOW: 'Bachelor' Ben Flajnik looks for love on the hills of San Francisco

San Francisco's famously steep hills may be scary to travel on for some, but for the newly crowned “Bachelor” Ben Flajnik, they’re a means to an end -- marriage.

Filming for ABC's popular reality dating show has been going on and around The City all week. On Wednesday, the 28-year-old Sonoma winemaker headed over to Filbert Street in Russian Hill with a gaggle of scantily clad ladies vying for his affections.

Now I know what you're thinking: A sunny day and skimpy clothes equal perfect conditions for some skiing. No? Well, Flajnik and his producers felt differently as they proceeded to coat one of San Francisco's streets with layers of fresh white powder.

The girls were next seen skiing down the snow-covered street in bikinis and knitwear -- one even sported a Giants panda hat -- while Flajnik himself opted for a no-shirt-no-problem wardrobe.

And according to, a snowball fight ensued -- of course -- while camera-happy residents snapped away at the scene before them.

We at the Examiner are not quite sure what the end goal of these antics is, but we recognize reality gold when we see it -- not to mention how heartwarming it is to see that Flajnik's journey to find love is downslope.
