Sleazy con man snatches cellphones from Glen Park business

A conniving thief posing as a potential customer snatched two cellphones from a Glen Park business on Friday, cops said.

The clever con-man entered the business in the 600 block of Chenery Street around 3:30 p.m. and asked an employee questions about the facility and left, police said. He returned later and asked for a tour of the business and the employee complied.

During the tour, the crook’s cellphone rang and he suddenly left. The employee then noticed two cellphones missing from the front counter. No arrest has been made.
