Six men arrested in Burlingame jewelry robbery 

Six men have been arrested in Los Angeles for allegedly robbing a jewelry dealer at gunpoint in a Burlingame hotel parking lot last week, a
police captain said Wednesday.

At about 11:45 a.m. Jan. 13, the six suspects allegedly robbed the victim as he was loading jewelry into his trunk in the parking lot of Crowne
Plaza Hotel at 1177 Airport Blvd., Burlingame police Capt. Mike Matteucci said.

The suspects then fled but later that evening, Los Angeles police stopped two vehicles as they were entering the Los Angeles area and found the stolen jewelry in those cars, according to Matteucci.

The men, 27-year-old Jesus Ortiz, 32-year-old Jose Figueroa, 23-year-old Juan Sanchez, 39-year-old Juan Martinez, 32-year-old Jonathan
Castro and 31-year-old Nicolas Mojica, were arrested and booked into Los Angeles County jail. They are awaiting a transfer to San Mateo County jail.
