Sit-lie measure stays on ballot for now 

John Arntz, the head of the Elections Department, rejected a request by the Coalition for Civil Sidewalks — proponents of the sit-lie ordinance that’s on the Nov. 2 ballot — to pull Proposition M, the foot-patrol measure, from the ballot. Arntz said there was no amendment to Prop. M, as the coalition stated. The version filed with the department is identical to Board of Supervisors’ version, he said.
