Shots fired into a Mission district home, blog reports

A shooting occurred in the Mission Tuesday evening, according to the blog Mission Local, who had a reporter at the scene.

The blog reports that about 6 p.m. someone walked by a house and fired shots into it.

The incident took place at 21st Street and Treat Avenue.

A family was reportedly standing on that corner in tears but declined to speak to the blog's reporter.

At one point, police took someone out of the house in handcuffs.

Police were on the scene and 21st Street has been blocked to traffic.

About 6:42 p.m., Mission Local reported medical responders were on the scene but it was unclear if anyone was actually hurt.

Police are reportedly not allowing anyone in the house at this time.

As of 7 p.m., there was no comment from police.
