A San Francisco woman has been sentenced to more than six years in prison for distribution of crack cocaine, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

Tomasha Mayfield, 39, along with 47-year-old Tony Patton of San Mateo, was indicted by a federal grand jury in January 2013 on charges of possession and intent to distribute cocaine in crack form.

Mayfield faced a total of seven drug trafficking counts and Patton faced three.

Patton pleaded guilty in June 2013 and was sentenced September 2013.

Mayfield pleaded guilty in January in a plea deal where she admitted to distributing approximately 100 grams of crack to another individual in February 2010 and that she distributed another 472 grams on numerous other occasions between September 2008 and February 2010.

She was sentenced to 74 months in prison and four years of supervised release.

Mayfield has been in custody since March.
