SF police investigating two homicides early Sunday morning 

San Francisco police are investigating two homicides that were reported minutes apart and within three blocks of each other in the Mission district early Sunday morning.

At about 2 a.m., officers responded to a shooting at 20th and Mission streets where a male victim was found suffering a gunshot wound to the upper body, Officer Gordon Shyy said.

The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, where he later died.

Also around 2 a.m., a fight was reported at 18th and Valencia streets. Responding officers found a victim suffering stab wounds, who also died at San Francisco General Hospital, said Shyy.

Further details, including suspect information, was not immediately available.
