These are excerpts from the San Francisco Police Department's daily log of activities. Incidents are listed by police precincts and the neighborhoods they patrol.

Southern

South of Market, China Basin, Embarcadero

Suspended: An officer cited a subject for driving with a suspended license near Sixth and Folsom streets at 11:44 p.m. May 25.

Tenderloin

Tenderloin, bordered by Geary, Market and Larkin streets

No deal: Plainclothes men conducting a surveillance operation at O’Farrell and Jones streets May 21 observed a woman engage in hand-to-hand transactions with several individuals. The officers believed these were narcotics transactions, so they detained the woman and seized several rocks of crack cocaine and money earned from the sale of crack cocaine. The woman was booked.

Richmond

Richmond, most of Golden Gate Park

Not so fast: An intoxicated man participating in the Bay to Breakers race grabbed a woman’s breast at 36th Avenue and Fulton Street at 2:35 p.m. May 18. The woman’s boyfriend punched the suspect in the mouth. The man was charged with public drunkenness because the woman did not wish to press assault charges.

Park

Cole Valley, Haight, Castro, Twin Peaks, Panhandle

Rent is due: A landlord was booked on a carjacking charge at 8:15 a.m. May 15. The victim was indebted to the landlord, who got a couple of buddies and lured the tenant to a location and took his vehicle.

Bayview

Bayview, Hunters Point

Road robbery: Officers responded to 19th and Connecticut streets regarding a robbery at 9:45 a.m. May 22 and spoke with one of three victims who said he was seated in his car when a suspect opened the door and pointed a black gun at him, demanding his keys and bag. The second victim, seated in the passenger seat, said a second suspect opened her door, took her purse and ran up the street. The third victim, seated in the back seat, said she saw the gun but was not robbed.
