S.F. Police Blotter: Neighborhood crime log 

These are excerpts from the San Francisco Police Department’s daily log of activities. Incidents are listed by police precincts and the neighborhoods they patrol.

Central

Financial District, Nob Hill, Chinatown, North Beach, Russian Hill, Telegraph Hill

Tip taker: A dancer at an adult club on Broadway said a customer argued with her after giving her a $100 tip and subsequently took it back and ran from the club at 1:45 p.m. June 6.

Cutting in line: An individual was arrested for throwing a glass against a wall inside a bar on the 700 block of Broadway at 1:15 a.m. June 7.

The suspect explained his behavior by saying a woman broke a bottle over his head while waiting to use the restroom.

Taraval

Sunset, Parkside, portions of Golden Gate Park

Rice riot: Officers responded to a family fight about the preparation of food on the 1600 block of 25th Avenue at 5:30 p.m. June 8. Rice bowls and other items were thrown by a father at his adult son in the presence of grandchildren.

A lot of property had been overturned in the residence with blood on various items. The father was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence and assault.

Southern

South of Market, China Basin, Embarcadero

Beer with bite: Officers arriving at the 100 block of Sixth Street at 10:05 p.m. June 9 found a man bleeding badly from a bite wound to his ear. It appeared he was in a dispute with another subject that began over a can of beer.

Ingleside

Glen Park, Bernal Heights, Excelsior, St. Francis Wood

Bakery brawl: Two people entered a bakery on the 4600 block of Mission Street at 6:45 p.m. June 5 and argued with its proprietors. One of the owners thought that they were being robbed and armed himself with a knife and a large wooden block.

The first pair trashed the bakery and fled. The owner used the wooden block to break a window of the car being used in the pair’s escape. Officers found the car occupied at Alemany Boulevard and Lawrence Avenue. Its four occupants were detained.
