These are excerpts from the San Francisco Police Department's daily log of activities. Incidents are listed by police precincts and the neighborhoods they patrol.

Northern

Pacific Heights, Marina, Japantown, Polk Gulch

Gonna make you sweat: Officers saw a driver make an illegal left turn at 9:15 p.m. June 19. The passenger was acting nervous. The officers located narcotics on the man. He was booked for an outstanding parole warrant.

Mission

Mission district, Noe Valley

Drop the puppy: A suspect had attempted to walk away with someone’s puppy at 19th and Mission streets June 17. One person attempted to stop the suspect and was stabbed in the arm. The suspect droppedthe puppy and fled.

Bayview

Bayview, Hunters Point

Photo finished: Officers responded to Third Street and Newcomb Avenue at 6:55 p.m. June 16 regarding a possible purse snatching. Officers met with the victim, who said he was at the Opera House on Third Street when a person walked up to him and grabbed his camera. Officers located the camera but not the suspect.

Richmond

Richmond, most of Golden Gate Park

Quick, hide the gun: At 10:10 p.m. June 16, four men near Ninth Avenue and Martin Luther King Drive in Golden Gate Park were approached by two men riding bicycles. One of the men on a bike pulled out a gun and told the others to hand over their phones and wallets. An hour later, officers saw two men matching the description walking near Ninth Avenue and Irving Street. The officers were approached by a business owner who said he had found a gun on the sidewalk. The two men were charged with robbery.

Southern

South of Market, China Basin, Embarcadero

Terrorist threat: Officers arrested a subject on suspicion of burglary at Rite Aid on the 1400 block of Market Street at 11:50 a.m. June 17. When the officers took the suspect into custody, the suspect threatened to kill the security officer for having him arrested. The officers charged the suspect with terrorist threats.
