S.F. Police Blotter: Neighborhood crime log 

These are excerpts from the San Francisco Police Department's daily log of activities. Incidents are listed by police precincts and the neighborhoods they patrol.

Park

Cole Valley, Haight, Castro, Twin Peaks, Panhandle

Let me bleed: A person was reportedly bleeding while sitting on the front steps of the McDonald’s at 730 Stanyan St. at 5:45 p.m. Nov. 12. When police arrived, they saw he was bleeding profusely. The officers attempted to tend his wounds while calling for an ambulance. The bleeding person said he wanted nothing to do with the officers and that a "group beat him down." An ambulance responded and transported the victim to the hospital.

Bite me: Medical personnel at Davies Hospital called at 1:30 a.m. Nov. 17 and reported a case of possible domestic violence. When officers arrived, they found the victim in one of the hospital rooms missing about half an inch from one of his fingers. The fingertip had been bitten off by the girlfriend, who was placed under arrest and booked into county jail.

Richmond

Richmond, most of Golden Gate Park

Pickpocket: A victim walking near 5th Avenue and Geary Boulevard at 3:15 a.m. Nov. 16 was struck from behind by unknown suspects. One of the suspects took the victim’s iPhone from his pocket and fled.

Ingleside

Glen Park, Bernal Heights, Excelsior, St. Francis Wood

DUI arrest: An officer stopped a motorist at 3:30 a.m. Nov. 24 for running a red light at South Van Ness Avenue and Cesar Chavez Street. The driver, a 25-year-old Bernal Heights woman, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Taraval

Sunset, Parkside, portions of Golden Gate Park

Shopping rampage: A man entered a number of establishments on the 1800 block of Irving Street reportedly acting in an aggressive manner, grabbing items and opening them before they were paid for and threatening employees at 9:19 p.m. Nov. 26. The suspect was arrested for felony assault, battery, malicious mischief, theft, resisting arrest and a parole violation.
