S.F. Children’s Art Center calls old, new friends

The San Francisco Children’s Art Center is celebrating 30 years with a potluck picnic from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday in Golden Gate Park next to the children’s playground. Art Center alumni families and new friends are invited to celebrate 30 years of creative exploration at the center, a nonprofit organization that offers art classes for kids ages 22 months to 12 years old at its Fort Mason Center studios. Sunday’s party provides not only the opportunity to meet and greet staffers and Art Center regulars, but also to enjoy free drop-in art activities. Don’t forget to bring your favorite picnic dish. For more information, call (415) 771-0292 or e-mail sfcac@childrensartcenter.org.
