S.F. Bulls set date for first exhibition game

The date has been set for professional hockey to officially return to San Francisco.

The San Francisco Bulls, the newest addition to the ECHL, will kick off their season with an exhibition game Oct. 3 at the Cow Palace against Pacific Division foe the Stockton Thunder.

It will mark the first pro hockey game at the Cow Palace since the San Francisco Spiders of the IHL played there in the 1995-96 season.

Tickets for the exhibition game will go on sale Sept. 17 at 10 a.m. at www.ticketmaster.com or (855) SF-BULLS.

This will be the Bulls’ only home exhibition game. A full schedule will be announced at a later date.
