Sequoia Union High School District superintendent Patrick Gemma is retiring following this school year. The 60-year-old, who has been leading the 8,200-student district since 2003, was scheduled to discuss plans for finding his replacement at Wednesday’s board of trustees meeting. His tenure ends June 30. “It has been a privilege to have served the Sequoia district and the community for the past seven years,” he said in a released statement.
