A great beach

Q tip: Want the best seats in the house for your beachside barbecue or bonfire? Beeline to Bodega Bay's sprawling Doran Beach (aka Doran Regional Park), where you'll find a huge white-sand beach area that rivals those in Southern California. Nine picnic tables with fire rings are sheltered from wind by crescent-shaped walls and make prime spaces for grilling burgers — with great views to boot.
