Man arrested at SF Hells Angels clubhouse booked on assault charges

A man was arrested at the San Francisco clubhouse of the Hells Angels early Wednesday morning in connection with an aggravated assault in December 2013, police Officer Albie Esparza said.

Charles Nucci, 42, of San Francisco was taken into custody after police served a search warrant at the clubhouse in the 1100 block of Tennessee Street about 5 a.m.

In December, several suspects reportedly wearing Hells Angels jackets assaulted and seriously injured a person somewhere in The City, Esparza said.

The investigation led to police identifying Nucci as one of the assailants in the attack, Esparza said.

He was booked into County Jail on aggravated assault charges.

He was released several hours after his arrest on $175,000 bail, according to Chief Deputy Sheriff Kathy Gorwood.
