Scoop: Tiger told mistress he was unhappy in marriage

Taking time out from golf to focus on his family might not be enough to save Tiger Woods’ marriage. His wife Elin was spotted Saturday without her wedding ring, as more rumored mistresses and damning allegations continue to surface.

Case in point: New York single mom Cori Rist says she romped with the golf great for two and a half years, and he confided that he was unhappy with his spouse.

When she met Tiger in (shocker) a nightclub in 2006, Cori recalled on “Today,” “he was not afraid to show his affection in front of everybody that was there. He was very affectionate, and he led me by the hand, and we just kind of disappeared, and that was the start.”

During their affair, Tiger confessed that “he was not happy at home with his wife,” she added. “He would stay there because she was pregnant, and they were expecting their first child. Because of his reputation and the image that he has, he had to uphold that.” (Yeah, that didn’t exactly work out.)

For the record, she says of Elin, “I am just sorry for her pain. I hate that I am a part of it.”

Cori says the relationship flamed out after two and a half years: “We had an argument over how I don’t make enough time for him, and that was it.” Gee, talk about hypocritical.

Jude: Playing House?

Well, that was awfully quick! Even though they haven’t confirmed they’re more than just friends, Jude Law and Sienna Miller are reportedly in love again — and planning to shack up.

Evidently, in the three years since their split, Sienna has forgiven her former beau for his (as Tiger would say) transgressions.

“Last week they put the wheels in motion to live together again,” a source told British OK!

“They have told staff that they are in love and will be moving back to London in the spring and they will be living together as a couple once again.”

Though their adjacent Broadway gigs have brought them into close proximity, “Jude was reluctant at first for anything to happen,” the source explains. “But Sienna convinced him that she was still in love with him.”

Will these two get a happy ending this time around?

Hugh’s Huge Profit

In these days of Ponzi schemes and failing banks, it’s hard to find a safe place to invest your money. But Hugh Grant has come up with an interesting strategy — so to speak: drinking.

The actor admitted to the U.K.’s Mail that he’d been boozing for two days when, in 2001, he decided to bid on an iconic Andy Warhol painting of Elizabeth Taylor that ultimately netted him a $17 million profit.

“It all began with drink,” recalled the “Music and Lyrics” star. “I’d been having a drunken dinner with my father the night before, and I said, “We ought to go see my brother Jamie. You know, the Concorde’s amazing.” And he said, “I hear it is.” So I bought him a Concorde ticket and we went [to New York]. We had lunch, drank a lot of beer. And I was thinking about some stuff in the Sotheby’s auction and I saw the Liz Taylor.”

Hugh instructed his assistant to bid on the painting, “and to my horror, she did, and even worse, got it.”

Though he had to shell out about $2 million, Hugh’s, er, good judgment was rewarded in 2007 when the painting sold for an astronomical price.

Even so, the newly minted art lover says, “I slightly regret selling it now, even though it made me rich.”

Well, Hugh, why not have a tipple and start thumbing through catalogs?
