Scoop: Shanna thanks fans for support

Shanna Moakler has released a statement following the plane crash that badly burned her ex-husband, Travis Barker, and killed four people on board, including his assistant and bodyguard.

“There are not enough words to express how thankful we are for the outpouring of love and support we have received during this very difficult time,” the former beauty queen said. “We can only ask for prayers as we heal and mourn the loss of our dear friends who we considered part of our family. Our lives will be changed forever.”

After the crash, Shanna, the mother of Travis’ two young children, rushed to the Georgia burn center where the rocker is being treated. Also hospitalized is Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein, who had just performed with Travis in South Carolina when their homebound Learjet had a horrific, fiery crash.

On Sunday, officials said the cause of the crash was thought to be a tire blowing out before takeoff. We’ll keep you posted as more details come to light.

Lynne: Spin?

Lynne Spears insists in her new book, “Through the Storm,” that she never pushed her daughters Britney and Jamie Lynn toward fame. But the author of an upcoming Britney bio claims that’s just an act, and Lynne is all about the money.

“Lynne is a spin doctor and a borderline manic-depressive,” writer Ian Halperin, who posed as a paparazzo to get close to the pop icon, told the New York Daily News. “She wants to come across as very innocent, but she only rushed to Britney’s side when Britney had her emotional breakdown because there was a big rush for Britney’s fortune.”

“It’s ridiculous that she says she didn’t push both these kids into show business,” Halperin fumed. “[The parents] thought she would be a cash cow to set them up for their future.”

Halperin — whose tome “Stalking Britney: Under Siege With Britney Spears” is due in November — also says Britney’s ex-husband, Kevin Federline, isn’t the model dad he’s supposedly made himself out to be.

“I was in South Beach with K-Fed and I did a chart comparing their party habits and their parental duties,” Halperin explains. “I found Britney to be, at that time, way more responsible than Kevin. He was out every night with a different girl or girls on his arm.”

Whoa — so you’re saying Kevin Federline likes to party and pick up chicks? Now those are some startling allegations!

Fashion Crisis?

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are clashing over work ethics — or lack thereof, according to a tabloid report. The twin moguls collaborate on two fashion lines — the high-end The Row and the more affordable Elizabeth and James — but MK isn’t taking her responsibilities as seriously as her sister, a friend tells In Touch.

“Ashley really wants to be a respected businesswoman and be taken seriously,” explained the source. “MK does too, but she hasn’t been willing to give up her lifestyle and act like an adult for their job.”

Hey, if we had MK’s set-for-life bank account, we’d blow off work and go out partying, too.

Grungelina

When you think about Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt getting dirty, you probably don’t picture this: The glamorous supercouple is literally living in filth, reports Star.

Though their lavish French chateau is beyond picturesque on the outside, it’s a pigsty on the inside, a source told the tabloid — with dirty dishes piled up, flies swarming the kitchen and the residue of the kids’ “toothpaste wars” gunking up the bathroom walls and floors.

“It’s actually pretty disgusting,” sniffed the insider. “Every room looks like a war zone.”

This is one of those tabloid tales that doesn’t exactly ring true, but we’ll take any excuse to convince ourselves that Brangelina aren’t actually perfect!
