Scoop: Sandra makes light of marital ‘explosion’

Sandra Bullock finally made her first public appearance since husband Jesse James’ cheating scandal broke, and she did it with her typical grace, class and humor.

In a surprise move, “The Blind Side” star showed up to the Spike Guys’ Choice Awards to collect her trophy for Troops’ Choice Entertainer of the Year. And she even alluded to her marital drama.

“Let’s be honest here, just for a moment. We’re all going to be honest, right?” Sandy said. “Did I win this for being entertainer of the year or did I win this because of the spectacular IED [improvised explosive device] explosion that became my personal life?” She went on to thank “our extraordinary troops” for their service.

Think Jesse realizes what he threw away?

Tiger’s cubs

The $700 million he’ll likely pay soon-to-be-ex-wife Elin Nordegren is chump change to Tiger Woods. But what he can’t put a price on is time with his two children. Custody of daughter Sam and son Charlie is the sticking point in their negotiations, according to a report in People magazine.

“Elin now wants full custody of the children because she would prefer they have limited time with Tiger,” a source said.

The betrayed blonde allegedly wants to spend the majority of her time in her homeland of Sweden, meaning their Florida-based dad won’t exactly be able to take them out for ice cream on weekends.

“Money will not turn out to be the biggest factor in this divorce,” another source said. “How Sam and Charlie’s time is divided between parents will be.”

Hope they don’t get caught in the middle.

Charlie’s new gig

Charlie Sheen won’t exactly be doing hard time during his 30-day stint in jail. Pending a judge’s approval today, the “Two and a Half Men” star will be able to leave the prison from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. for work release, TMZ reported.

And his job sounds like it’ll be a lot more fun than making license plates: He will work in the Theatre Aspen, coaching actors and helping raise money.

Meanwhile, Charlie’s wife, Brooke Mueller, made a public appearance at an event Saturday night, very conspicuously not wearing her wedding ring. So ... we’re guessing Charlie isn’t going to be too homesick while he’s sleeping in the big house.

Funeral fight

Confusion has broken out in the wake of Gary Coleman’s untimely death, with the revelation that he had divorced wife Shannon Price.

The former child star’s funeral was canceled as his estranged parents attempted to get custody of his body, to be buried in Illinois rather than Utah. They have since given up, but burial plans remain in limbo, as Gary’s marital status means Shannon has no authority to make those arrangements on his behalf.

The executor of Gary’s estate told Radar Online that the “Diff’rent Strokes” star’s ex-wife “has absolutely no rights or authority.”

Funeral plans are now “pending,” the executor said. Let’s hope he can be laid to rest in peace without more legal wrangling.
