Scoop: New will emerges for Coleman’s estate

An updated will of Gary Coleman’s has been discovered and could impact the struggle for control of his estate, Radar Online reported.

Although a “handwritten codicil from 2007” was deemed not valid, “this was created by a lawyer and it’s substantially different from the 1999 will,” which had been thought to be his most recent legally binding document.

“The new will should be filed within a couple of weeks at the latest,” the source said. “And then there is going to be an incredible battle over Gary’s estate.”

In particular, the newer will could affect the inheritance of ex-wife Shannon Price, who was not named in the 1999 document.

Since they were not married at the time of the “Diff’rent Strokes” star’s death, though, she will not necessarily be entitled to anything, unless specific provisions have been made.

But Shannon doesn’t seem to be waiting for attorneys to tell her what she’s been bequeathed — she’s just going ahead and taking it. Before his estate’s executor changed the locks on Gary’s home, his sort-of widow went in and relieved it of computers, musical instruments, furniture and more, and made off with her former hubby’s pickup truck. Gary’s executor reportedly threatened her with criminal charges if she doesn’t return the loot.

Wow. This woman is a real class act. Was there anyone in Gary’s life who cared about him for who he was, not what they could gain from him?

Lindsay SCRAM-bles

Oh, Lindsay Lohan. The starlet’s attorney, who works a lot more hours than she does, admitted in a statement that the report on her alcohol-monitoring SCRAM bracelet reviewed by a judge “indicated the presence of a small amount of alcohol on Sunday night.”

Lohan, coincidentally enough, was at an after party for the MTV Movie Awards. A bondsman had to pony up $200,000 — up from $100,000 — to keep her out of jail.

“Having just received the report, I am not in a position to speak to its accuracy or validity. However, Ms. Lohan maintains that she has been in complete compliance with all of the terms of her probation and her bail,” the attorney said.

Indeed, Lindsay declared via Twitter, “My SCRAM wasn’t set off ... It’s physically impossible considering I’ve [done] nothing for it to go off.”

And yet, it did.

Happy Rihanna

Rihanna is opening up about her now-not-so-new romance, and we’re glad to hear it’s a lot more drama-free than her last one.

The singer has been dating Matt Kemp of the L.A. Dodgers since last fall, and she told Elle magazine, “I’m so happy. I feel really comfortable, and it’s so easy.”

Though she had previously downplayed the seriousness of their relationship, the 22-year-old now acknowledges that he has an important role in her life.

“I have such a chaotic life, but at the end of the day, that is just my peace,” RiRi said. “It keeps me sane, really, talking to him and talking to my family.”

We’re happy she’s happy. As for her ex Chris Brown, he had to cancel U.K. shows after being denied a visa due to the infamous 2009 incident when he assaulted Rihanna. We’re kind of happy about that too.
