Scoop: More mistress rumors emerge around Tiger

Even as Tiger Woods released a statement admitting “transgressions” against his family and pleading for privacy while he “strive[s] to be a better person and the husband and father that my family deserves,” more salacious allegations of affairs were exploding.

First, nightclub party planner Rachel Uchitel was named by the National Enquirer as a paramour of the golfing great (which she vigorously denies). Then cocktail waitress Jaimee Grubbs told Us magazine she had a 31-month affair with Tiger; the tabloid released a voice mail purportedly from him, begging Jaimee to change her voice mail message before his wife, Elin Nordegren, made a suspicious call. (Per TMZ, Jaimee later told coworkers she’d received an anonymous call from a woman who snapped, “You know who this is because you’re [expletive] my husband.”)

Now, yet another woman has been IDed as an alleged Tiger lady: Kalika Moquin, a nightclub manager (sensing a theme here?) whom Life&Style magazine claims he saw as recently as late October.

“They’ve hooked up a bunch of times,” an insider reportedly revealed to the tabloid. “Tiger told Kalika that married life isn’t all it’s built up to be. He said he wasn’t happy in his marriage or his home life and that there was just so much pressure on him.”

In response, Kalika said, “It’s not appropriate for me to comment one way or the other.” (Which, we can’t help but notice, is not a denial.)

Sounds like Tiger has his work cut out for him when it comes to mending fire hydrants — er, fences — with Elin and saving his marriage. On the bright side, the wealth of possible golf-related puns might just save Jay Leno’s struggling show.

Matchmaker Mayer

John Mayer has plenty of experience with on-again, off-again romances … so it seems fitting that he’s now playing therapist to one such couple. The singer-songwriter brokered an accord between sometime girlfriends Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson at NYC club Butter.

“Lindsay and Sam didn’t arrive together,” a clubgoer recounted to the New York Daily News. “Lindsay walked in, and the two said a quick hello, but then Linds went to the table where John was sitting.”

Unsurprisingly enough, drama ensued. “Lindsay looked upset that Sam hadn’t come over to her, and she started whispering to John, who looked like he was trying to calm her down,” the source recalled. “She looked pretty angry. Then John got up and went to talk to Sam.”

Somehow — maybe he reminded her that LiLo’s body is a wonderland, or told her that the third time was the charm with him and Jennifer Aniston — John managed to get the DJ to accompany him back to the table where her volatile ex sat. Astonishingly, Sam and La Linds avoided a blowout, instead chatting and laughing with each other.

“Lindsay seemed happier than she has in ages,” declared the onlooker. “Sam eventually got up and DJed for a while, and Lindsay kept standing up and looking over to the DJ booth, smiling.” Awww!

“Lindsay and Sam both stayed past 3,” noted the source. “They didn’t leave together, but they definitely ended the night on good terms.”
Will the reconciliation last? Let’s just say, we’re thinking LiLo has already put John on speed-dial for emergency consultations.

Suri: Well-Heeled

When you think of at-risk kids, pampered princess Suri Cruise probably doesn’t come to mind. Yet sightings of the 3-year-old in high-heeled shoes have some critics squawking that she could be in danger of developing malformed feet. Mom Katie Holmes, however, doesn’t see a problem.

“She, like every little girl — she loves my high heels,” the actress told “Access Hollywood.” “They are actually ballroom dancing shoes for kids. I found them for her and she loves them.”

So there, people! Now can we get back to worrying about issues that actually matter — like Tiger Woods’ marriage?
