Scoop: Mel, Oksana accuse each other of violence

Things are becoming extremely ugly between Mel Gibson and ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, with both sides alleging violence — and their baby daughter is getting caught in the middle.

The “Braveheart” star’s camp told TMZ that Oksana made up a story about him beating her up because she regretted signing an agreement to share custody of Lucia. Team Mel said the only physical altercation between them occurred when Oksana began shaking Lucia violently and he intervened.

However, a source close to the Russian singer said that’s a lie and, in fact, “she tried to protect the baby during one of Gibson’s violent episodes when he punched Oksana in the face two times, breaking her teeth and giving her a concussion.”

Without referencing any abuse allegations, Oksana told the U.K.’s Daily Mail that Mel is “not paying me a penny” to care for Lucia.

‘Bachelor’ Blowup?

And speaking of ugly breakups, it seems that the reunion of Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi didn’t go so well, to put it mildly. The former “Bachelor” couple met face to face for the first time since ending their three-month engagement over the phone to tape a special for ABC. And a report claimed things got so heated that Jake attacked Vienna, scaring her so much that she’s since gone into hiding.

“Vienna was confronting him, exposing all his lies,” a source told Star magazine (the tabloid that recently did a tell-all interview with Vienna, by the way). “He started screaming at her, ‘Shut up! Don’t belittle me! Don’t question me! Shut up!’ And all of a sudden, he literally jumped out of his chair, pulled back his fist and lunged at her! All of the executives were freaking out. They pulled him off of her and rushed them off to separate rooms.”

The network released a statement admitting “the atmosphere was emotionally charged” at the meeting, but said, “However, and contrary to reports that have surfaced about the interview, at no time was anyone ever physically in harm’s way, nor was anyone ever threatened with physical violence.”

And a pal of Jake’s told People magazine that “Jake did not threaten her. Anyone that knows Jake, including Vienna, knows that physically threatening someone is not in his character.”
Can’t we just go to the tape?

Birthday Truce

Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren were barely speaking at a belated birthday party for daughter Sam, after he broke his promise never to miss another of his children’s birthdays (she turned 3 on June 18. If you guessed he was golfing, give yourself a gold star).

Tiger arrived almost an hour late to the two-hour bash, and Elin was angry.

“But they put aside their differences for the good of their daughter when a big cake rolled in,” a source told Radar Online.

“They barely talk. It’s amazing that they spent time together — even at a birthday party,” a source said. “It’s a good sign that they could at least be civil.”

After all the ex drama we’ve discussed today, we’d have to agree.
