Scoop: Danielle may leave Jersey ‘Housewives’

For two seasons of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” Danielle Staub has been a lightning rod for drama — we’re talking table-flipping, name-calling, chasing-through-a-crowded-room drama. But now, the other ladies’ arch-browed archnemesis may be out of their lives for good. The erstwhile stripper is rumored to have been axed from the show.

“Danielle was told that she would not be returning for a third season,” an inside source told Life&Style magazine.

The firing “came as a complete shock, and she thought she was definitely going to return to the successful Bravo series,” said the source, who we’re guessing works for the TV network.

A rep for Bravo only had this to say: “Bravo does not comment on casting of upcoming seasons of ‘Housewives’ while current seasons are still airing.”

Danielle herself said, “I’m not even thinking about Season 3 right now. I am considering many incredible options that have been presented to me.”

That kind of makes us believe she’s not coming back.

And, that’s terrible news. Where will we get our fix of over-the-top, overly made-up, tackily dressed New Jersey-based reality TV drama? Oh, right, “Jersey Shore.” Whew.

Miss Independent

Kim Kardashian said she’s single and OK with it. The socialite turned reality TV star turned entrepreneur said her life leaves her little time to deal with the demands of a relationship.

“The challenges of dating, gosh,” Kim, whose last serious relationship was with NFL player Reggie Bush, told Allure magazine.

“Who would ever want to deal with a hectic schedule and not really [getting] to see someone that often? That’s the reality of my life right now, that I don’t have a lot of time.

“You know, it’s tough, but I’m totally fine on my own. I’ve always been in a relationship. So it’s kind of refreshing to just do me 100 percent and not worry about, ‘Do I have to call this person when I get home?’”

We’re pretty sure there are plenty of guys who would be fine with Kim finding a few minutes out of her busy schedule for them.

Single Manson

After giving their odd-couple romance a second chance, Marilyn Manson and Evan Rachel Wood have called it quits again. The 41-year-old shock rocker and the 22-year-old “True Blood” star broke off their engagement last week. They had dated for two years starting in 2006 (as the “Antichrist Superstar” singer was divorcing Dita Von Teese), then split only to wind up engaged earlier this year.

While we can think of many reasons the relationship might have gone south, a source told Us magazine the actual reason: “They fought a lot. It was always on and off. He’s a creative mind, so not the easiest person to be in a relationship with.”

We’re sure Evan’s parents are very disappointed their daughter won’t be joining the Manson family.
