Scoop: Courtney barred from contacting daughter

When will Courtney Love learn that ranting on the Internet tends to make a bad situation worse, not better? After losing custody of Frances Bean Cobain, 17, to the mother of the teen’s late father, Kurt Cobain, the Hole rocker took to Facebook to bash her daughter as “deluded” and her paternal relatives as “greedy.”

“I don’t care really, I hate to sound cold, but any kid of mine who pulls this s--- has lost her position,” the troubled singer fumed online, adding that “Frances is clearly deluded” to believe she “can buy her grandmother a ‘small house in L.A.’ I’d love to see how that works.

They’ll incubate her until she’s 18 and then have her sign all the indemnifications.”

This missive was swiftly deleted from the Facebook page; soon after, TMZ reported that Courtney was slapped with a temporary restraining order prohibiting direct or indirect contact from her only child. A Jan. 5 hearing is reportedly set to determine whether the order will become permanent.

“Courtney is not fit to take care of Frances, she can barely take care of herself,” an uncle of Kurt told TMZ. “Courtney wasn’t doing any parenting at all, she was hiring nannies to do all the work.”

But a plaintive Courtney responded on Facebook, “I very much miss my daughter, I know she knows how miserable I am, I’m despairing and … so, so sad, but I just want to help her be happy … and that’s all I’ve ever wanted.”

So sad! Frances lost her father so young … now it looks like she’s losing her relationship with her mother too.

Kate missing A-rod

After splitting with beau Alex Rodriguez, Kate Hudson put on a brave face at the NYC premiere of “Nine.” But at the after-party, where she took comfort from pal Madonna and mom Goldie Hawn, her real feelings showed.

“When the cameras were on Kate she was all smiles,” a gawker told the New York Post. “But privately you could tell she has had her heart broken.”

“It was her big premiere, and she was upset Alex wasn’t there to support her,” a source said.

Even the unofficial Yankees anthem, Jay-Z’s “Empire State of Mind,” brought up painful memories: “When the song was played at the after-party, Kate looked at her mom and did a fake scream,” said the spy.

But perhaps there’s hope for a reunion yet. “They had a huge fight in London at the premiere of ‘Nine,’ and Alex flew to Miami to hang out with his friends. But in the last few days he and Kate have started speaking again on the phone,” the source explained. “She hopes they can work things out. But they are both very stubborn.”

At least one couple was happy: Despite tabloid allegations of a steamy tryst with a stripper, Josh Duhamel “looked very affectionate all night” with wife Fergie. Well, that’s nice.

Swinging Tiger

Despite reports that wife Elin Nordegren plans to pack up the kids and leave him, Tiger Woods is still gamely going to therapy with her — and finding solace in late-night solo golfing, Us magazine reports.

A neighbor at his Florida gated community tells the tabloid that the beleaguered athlete has been “coming by in the early evenings only for their counseling and therapy.” (A source says that those sessions, as you might imagine, consists of him “just apologizing over and over again.”)

Consequently, says another neighbor, Tiger goes golfing “to clear his head” at a nearby course, adding, “He goes after dark so he can’t be seen. For him, what’s more therapeutic than hitting golf balls, the thing he’s best at in the whole world?”

Don’t answer that.
