  • R&B singer Chris Brown appears in court with his attorney Mark Geragos for a probation violation hearing during which his probation was revoked by a Los Angeles Superior judge on December 16, 2013 in Los Angeles, California.
Even though America’s bad boy Chris Brown has had his probation in the Rihanna beating revoked, he won’t be behind bars anytime soon.

The probation was yanked after Brown was charged with assault in October in Washington, D.C. After that arrest, Brown’s savvy lawyers came up with a game plan that involved scuttling his butt directly into anger management classes in the hope it would curry favor with the courts.

It paid off, because according to TMZ, Brown wasn’t taken into custody. Authorities acknowledged he has been hitting the right milestones by attending weekly boot camps that help him build trust and identify his own emotional triggers. Awww.

A Los Angeles County judge has set a hearing for February to reassess his progress.
