Scoop: Brangelina family trapped in house?

Are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s children kept prisoner for photo ops? TMZ claims to have heard buzz that the power couple are so anxious to look like a hands-on mom and dad that they bar their brood of six from being seen in public with nannies.

But before you go knock on their door demanding to know why Shiloh can’t come out and play, relax. The paparazzi site cites “really good spies” who assert that the tale isn’t true, since “Brad and Angelina don’t give a [expletive] what the world thinks of how they’re raising their kids.”

The potty-mouthed insiders add that the couple is genuinely dedicated to their tots, and operate with “minimal staff” at home on the weekends: There’s a cook (hey, Angie’s often said her many talents don’t extend to the kitchen), plus security to keep the tykes safe as they roam whatever vast estate they’re on.

Sources also note that the lavish-looking mansions are actually “dirty from the kids,” with toys all over the place and food spilled on the floor.

For some reason, we find this last bit profoundly comforting.

Dunst Deal

Maybe Justin Long’s hookup with Kirsten Dunst was more than just a rebound to get over that other blond former child star he dated (that would be Drew Barrymore). After a sighting a month ago, the couple were spotted together again, an observer told the New York Daily News.

At L.A.’s Sunset Junction, says the onlooker, the pair “were making out hard-core while waiting in line for margaritas. They were holding hands and were all over each other.”

First of all: Eww, get a room. Second of all: Justin, didn’t you learn from your relationship with Drew that the couple who PDAs together doesn’t necessarily stay together?

Mayer: Cut-Rate

John Mayer may complain about the paparazzi … but he actually misses their presence since his split with Jennifer Aniston, a report on MSNBC.com claims. The singer-songwriter is said to be one of those celebs who secretly calls the paparazzi to tip them off to his comings and goings. Trouble is, nobody cares anymore.

“He thinks he’s famous as Jen now,” one member of the paparazzi corps sneered to the Web site.

“Last week he went to a party, tipped off the paps and even had decoy cars at the ready when he was leaving,” the shutterbug recalled. “Nice, but no one bothered to follow them, which made John think he ‘lost’ everyone, when really no one bothered to follow him.”

Another lensman explained, “Pictures of him and Jen were selling for $20,000 at one point. A picture of him alone gets $200 now. Chasing him from his apartment to Nobu is hardly worth it.”

Ouch! There’s nothing more demeaning for a celeb than seeing his photo price plummet.
