School assignment process redesign to be presented Tuesday 

The San Francisco Unified School District superintendent will see plans for the proposed redesign of the controversial student-assignment process at Tuesday’s Board of Education meeting. The Parent Advisory Council and Parents for Public Schools will present findings and make a recommendation on a new process. Public comment is expected to take place at next week’s meeting. Today’s meeting begins at
6 p.m. at 555 Franklin St.
