Sarah Palin to the media: Come and get me

Sarah Palin thumbed her nose at chagrined reporters who spent their holiday weekend chasing Sarah Palin on her 'mystery' bus tour.

Reporters ended up in Gettysburg yesterday and are working to guess Palin's next move, tweeting to each other under the hashtag #WheresPalin.

"I don't think I owe anything to the mainstream media." Sarah Palin announced to Fox news host Greta Van Susteren, who got an exclusive interview while riding on Sarah Palin's tour bus. " .  . I want them to have to do a little bit of work on a tour like this and that would include not necessarily telling them beforehand where every stop is going to be," she added, " . . . the media can figure out where we're going if they do their investigative work or they're going to keep, kind of as you put it, going crazy trying to figure out what we're doing here."

While in Washington, the New York Times noted that a reporter yelled out, “Sarah, where are you going next?”

She quickly answered, “Mount Vernon.”

When the reporter asked “Now?” she answered, “Yes,” and then added, “You are a reporter, darn you!”
