Sarah Palin + a Sharpie = Island mayhem

Every little thing she does is magic (marker)       (tmz photos)

Because nothing Sarah Palin does is too trivial for extensive coverage, we now have the odd matter of her besmirched sun visor.

TMZ reports that while vacationing in Hawaii, Palin repurposed a McCain campaign visor and blacked out the candidate's name. The celebrity-tracking website called it a "frontal attack" on John McCain and a "searing political comment." Really?

An outraged Palin responded by written statement to Politico's Playbook:

Palin tells us she was just trying to “be incognito” and shield her children and husband, Todd, from paparazzi: “I am so sorry if people took this silly incident the wrong way. I adore John McCain, support him 100 percent and will do everything I can to support his reelection. As everyone knows, I was honored and proud to run with him. And Todd and I were with him in D.C. just a week ago. So much for trying to be incognito."
